Ultramar Caffè Srl is FSSC 22000 certified, a certification approved by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) for food safety systems, which includes and applies all ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 standards to all company systems by combining the specific approach of the management systems, HACCP system and PRP guidelines.

In addition, the company is in possession of the certification for the production of organic products obtained through the compliance inspection and certification by Suolo e Salute (ITBIO-004), authorized by the MIPAAF. 

FSSC 22000
Approved by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) for the food safety system. It combines the specific approach of the management systems, the HACCP methodology and the detailed PRP guidelines.

BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard)
Specific global standards for the safety of agri-food products, approved by the GFSI. It guarantees the company’s high quality levels.

It ensures respect of farmers and workers rights and guarantees safe and dignified living conditions for every worker.

The ORGANIC certification is assigned to products from eco-sustainable agriculture: cultivation practices with low environmental impact; responsible use of natural resources such as water, soil and air; maintaining of a high biodiversity level . Ultramar caffè Srl has obtained certification for the production of organic products through the control and certification body Soil and Health (IT-BIO-004), authorized by MIPAAF.

Quality, supply chain and product certification, which certifies that company products, industrial and transformation processes, including packaging certification, comply with ethical and sanitary standards, the law and the doctrine of Islam, therefore marketable in all countries of Islamic religion.

UTZ Certified
Socially and environmentally responsible agricultural production and supply standards. The main advantage of the UTZ protocol is to clearly identify the “sustainable products” (therefore made according to certain ethical and environmental criteria).

Together with UTZ certification, Rainforest is the standard that meets the foundations of sustainability: social, economic and environmental. It is based on important principles of sustainable agriculture, such as: conservation of biodiversity and natural resources, improved livelihoods and human well-being.
